What is P:LA?
Project Los Angeles is a medium roleplay server that has been started in 2012. P:LA had its ups and downs, but still was one of the most successful roleplay servers on SAMP. Sadly, OVG and Opis Gaming failed to keep the server running, so it had to be closed. New owners and new head administration team has been placed in charge, and with the help of old and new administrators, we successfully re-opened the server and brought ourselves a stable active playerbase. We are a friendly gaming community whose goal is nothing but do entertain players and make sure they are satisfied while using any of our services. Our script has been upgraded by our development team which did a fantastic job by adding so many new features. We make sure the script is bug-free so the players would not face any issues while playing.
We use 0.3.DL!
Like any other server nowadays, we utilize the SAMP 0.3.DL client and it's assets for our use. You can download the client HERE and install it.
User Control Panel
Our server is not an ordinary server. To be able to play, you need to go to http://54.38.157.196/login and register your account and also create your character. The UCP allows you to create multiple characters so players could enjoy the fullest roleplay experience. Once you are done creating your character, simply join our server under the IP stated below and enjoy your new life in the city of angels.
Why should you join P:LA?
Since it is a fresh re-opened server and to help the new players with their fresh start, we are giving out refunds to new players which is $50,000 and Bronze VIP. We want you to have fun and to be fully satisfied, and that is why you can be WHOEVER you want, no limits!
We are doing our best to make and keep balance with the law enforcement and criminal activities. You may join any legal faction or any ilegal organization, it is all up to you because you can be whoever you want!
What about the old players?
We are more then glad to welcome back our old players, and do not worry, the administration team wants to give players all their stuff back. Since the old management did not want to share any of the servers files with us, all stats have been lost. We care about our players a lot, and authorized administrators will personally give all of you your stats back. Players tend to lie to gain better items and advantage, and that is why proof needs to be provided while requesting a stats refund. (Ex: screenshot of /stats, /carkeys etc.)
NOTE: As I mentioned above, the old management did not share any files with us. With that being said, old MP order IDs can not be used as proof for the stats refund.
What is the difference between the old P:LA and new re-opened P:LA?
The new managements main interest is to create a friendly gaming environment and to keep the players satisfied. We are not developing the server the way we want, we develop it the way you want! The administration team will listen to you and consider every suggestion the players have to offer. We are not updating the script nor adding new stuff to it, YOU ARE, only you with your opinions and suggestions. We guarantee you, we will do our best to make this server the most enjoyable roleplay server for you.
